HAUPT CHEMICALS is a rapidly growing trading company specializing in chemicals that require extensive consulting. Our main areas of focus are surfactants, coating raw materials, and monomers. We represent European and Asian suppliers in German-speaking countries, the Benelux countries, Italy, and Slovenia. With 14 employees, we generate approximately 30 million euros in revenue and are among the up-and-coming chemical distributors in Central Europe.

KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER (M/F/D)

For the regions of Southeast Europe, France/Italy, and Germany/Benelux

Full-time or part-time, based in Vienna

Your Responsibilities

Sales and product management of chemical products in your region
Providing technical and commercial advice to your customers
Maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships
Acquiring new customers

What You Bring to the Table

Education in chemical engineering or a related field (HTL, university of applied sciences, or university)
Initial sales experience, ideally in the chemical or industrial sector
Self-motivation, perseverance, and strong communication skills
Negotiation skills and the ability to make decisions
An open, down-to-earth personality and a passion for working in a small team
Willingness to travel for work (several days per month)
Very good English skills; additional languages (e.g., French, Italian, or a Southeast European language) are a plus

Sales Assistent (M/F/D)

The area of responsibility includes all activities in connection with the processing of our customers‘ orders, whereby we attach great importance to good customer care and service.

Organizing the transport of goods from the warehouse or producers to the customer
Invoicing and reminders
Processing of complaints
Coordination of supplier conditions and monitoring of delivery dates
Planning and scheduling of transports by truck and ship
Optimisation and further development of purchasing processes

What we expect from you

A-levels and/or professional experience in the commercial field
Motivation, accuracy, commitment
Independent, structured way of working and thinking
Team and communication skills
English, basic computer and commercial skills
Additional chemical knowledge is an advantage
