For many years, anhydrides have been the basic material for the synthesis of synthetic resins, unsaturated polyesters, surfactants and many other chemical compounds. As a very important curing agent, phthalic anhydride (PA) provides heat-stable curing products. Maleic anhydride (MA) is used as a very reactive product, especially in the production of solvents, adhesives, lubricants, dyes and surface additives. Trimellitic anhydride (TMA) guarantees very good dimensional stability due to a relatively high melting point. The relatively low melting or liquid acid anhydrides (HHPA/MHHPA) are widely used as curing agents or are popular in high-solid polyesters.

Hierbei handelt es sich um chemische Verbindungen aus der Gruppe der Amine und Alkohole. Diese Produkte haben die einzigartige Fähigkeit, mit beiden Gruppen Reaktionen eingehen zu können. Als Alkohole können sie zu Estern reagieren, als Amine (leicht basisch) reagieren sie mit Säuren zu Salzen sowie Seifen.
Monoethanolamin (MEA) wird unter anderem zur Herstellung von Wasch- und Reinigungsmitteln verwendet. Es wird großtechnisch aus Ethylenoxid und Ammoniak hergestellt und findet in großen Mengen Einsatz bei der Herstellung von Ethylaminen, als Absorptionsmittel, als chemisches Zwischenprodukt bei der Herstellung von Holzschutzmitteln sowie Tensiden für Wasch- und Reinigungsmittel. Auch findet es Anwendung als organisches Lösungsmittel in der Farbstoff- und Zellstoff-Industrie, in Kosmetika sowie als pharmazeutische Wirkstoffe.
Triethanolamin (TEA) wird oft als chemisches Zwischenprodukt bei der Herstellung von Tensiden für flüssige Wasch- und Reinigungsmittel sowie von Dispergiermittel und Agrochemikalien verwendet. Als basische Komponente wird TEA in Seifen und Kosmetik (Emulgator), als Netzmittel für Textilien und als Weichmacher in der Lederindustrie verwendet. Ethanolamine garantieren Ihnen variable Anwendungsmöglichkeiten im Reinigungs-, Kosmetik-, Textil sowie Pharmabereich.

Glycols and their derivatives are used in industry as solvents, fillers and lubricants. Monoethylene glycol (MEG) and diethylene glycol (DEG) are mainly used as solvents for synthetic resins and as plasticisers in the production of paper and disinfectants. 1,2-Propanediol (MPG) is used in cosmetics (hygiene products, skin creams, toothpaste) as a humectant and is also used as a co-surfactant and thus improves the solubility of various substances. Neopentyl glycol (NPG) is mainly used as a raw material for the production of saturated polyester resins for powder coatings and for glass fibre reinforced plastics. Glycols improve the flow and spreadability of alkyd resins and lacquer paints due to their high water miscibility.

As they are extremely resistant to light, weather and chemicals, isocyanates are of particular importance in various areas of the coatings industry (automotive, industrial, wood, furniture, metal, plastics). Isocyanates also play an important role in the synthesis of polyurethanes, which are used in a wide variety of technical applications. The most important representatives are hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) and toluene-2,4-diisocyanate (TDI). The use of aliphatic and aromatic isocyanates guarantees high flexibility in processing and curing. Our product range includes oligomers (biureth, trimers) based on aliphatic (HDI) or aromatic isocyanates (TDI).

Oleochemicals currently cover about 10% of the chemical industry's raw material needs. The use of renewable raw materials is becoming increasingly important. Possible shortages of various energy sources and chemical feedstocks make the increasing use of renewable raw materials appear necessary. Oleic acid functions as an important product in the production of industrial basic chemicals, surfactant production, solvents, biopolymers and copolymers for the plastics and coatings sector. Stearic acid, caprylic acid and lauric acid are sometimes the basis for creams, ointments, tablets and dyes. Capric acid, like myristic acid, is used in cosmetics. Phosphonates are the salts and organic compounds of phosphonic acid. Their function as complexing agents (chelate complex) causes masking and thus suppression of undesirable chemical properties. In detergents, for example, they are used as a combination of complexing agents, to prevent precipitation and as a bleach stabiliser. Phosphonates assist in water softening and are used in cleaning and textile chemistry.

Silicone oils are the umbrella term for polymerised siloxanes with organic side chains. Siloxane-based chain molecules form the basic structure. Silicone oils are clear, colourless, odourless, chemically inert, temperature-stable and hydrophobic liquids. Silicone oils are widely used in cosmetics and care products (sun protection, make-up, hair care). In addition, silicone oils are used as components of detergents and cleaning agents, as lubricants (elastomers or plastics on metal), massage oils, heat protection agents in textiles and as carriers for fragrances. Silicone oils are characterised by the following properties: high resistance to high and low temperatures, low surface tension and resistance to oxidation.

Eine unserer Kernkompetenzen umfasst alle Arten von Tensiden: Die Tenside unserer Halusurf-Reihe finden Anwendung im Bereich der Reinigung und Hygiene aber auch der Kosmetik und chemischen Industrie. Dabei bieten die Zuckertenside, welche aus vollständig nachwachsenden Rohstoffen hergestellt werden, eine gute Hautverträglichkeit, ein ausgesprochen gutes Schaumverhalten und sind darüber hinaus biologisch abbaubar. Zuckertenside haben auch in hartem Wasser eine sehr gute Reinigungsleistung. Als Ausgangsstoff für die Herstellung wird zB. Kokosöl und Maisstärke verwendet. Unser Produktprogramm umfasst Polyglukoside mit sehr kurzkettigen Alkylresten (C4) und extrem niedrigen Schaumverhalten für industrielle Reiniger bis hin zu den weit verbreiteten C8-14 oder C12-14 (Lauryl)-Polyglukosiden.

UV reactive thinners are low-viscosity glycidyl ethers of short-chain aliphatic alcohols or alkyl phenols. They are used in the formulation of solvent-free paints and coatings and as additives in combination with other polymers such as PVC and acrylic resins to improve adhesion and stabilise against degradation reactions. UV reactive thinners have a great influence on flexibility and compatibility with the binder, which in turn simplifies your work process.

Citric acid has become one of our best-selling raw materials and is used in particular in cleaning, in pharmaceutical companies, in cosmetics as well as in the food industry. Due to the three carboxyl groups (-COOH), citric acid belongs to the organic tricarboxylic acids, which occur as commercial citric acid, as an anhydrous variant and as citric acid monohydrate. The salts of citric acid (ionic form) are called citrates. Industrially, citric acid is produced by fermentation of sugar-containing raw materials such as molasses and corn. Citric acid has a lime-dissolving effect which makes it an indispensable ingredient in cleaning agents. Citric acid guarantees you a high degree of flexibility and variable application possibilities in the cleaning, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and food sectors.
